So anyway I noticed on a weekday around noon the days of $5 minimum tables is over. I thought that system was pretty faulty and I can imagine the problems the parking lot attendants must be experiencing.

Keep your parking ticket and casino comp ticket as both need to be scanned when leaving the parking garage. The parking has arrangement has not changed, so I parked in the walkway attached garage and got comped for free parking when I left. My last visit was nearly two years ago and at that time I wrote a review and decided to do so again.
